Stepping up to the SDGs:

Mapping global SDG progress

As we approach the 2030 target for implementing the SDGs, the 2023 report ‘Stepping up to the SDGs’ assessed how Scotland’s International Development Alliance (SIDA) members were implementing the SDG Agenda. It reveals that members contributed to all 17 SDGs in over 170 countries. By mapping the contributions of members, SIDA hopes to raise awareness of the 2030 SDG Agenda and show how the SDGs are shaping global efforts towards sustainable development.

“As the only inclusive membership body for all global sustainable development actors in Scotland, it is essential for us, our members, and our supporters to have a complete understanding of our role in achieving the SDGs.”

Frances Guy, Chief Executive, Scotland’s International Development Alliance

SIDA will continue to support and champion its members contributions to the SDGs, with this report highlighting just some elements of wider memberships’ collective endeavour. See below the full 2023 ‘Stepping up to the SDGs’ report followed by some highlights.
